One suggestion -- use COUNT = INSERT instead of  COUNT = LAST.  LAST will
give you the most recently added row, even if it was from another user -- it
is not multi-user safe.  INSERT will give you the last inserted row from
your workstation in the current session -- it is inherently multi-user safe.
I'm not sure exactly when INSERT was added to the language, but it has been
around for a while.
