Well, I'm French born and raised so there are no dummies here, but those
Texas jokes grow on you, don't they? All you have to do is (forget
correct English grammar and syntax) read the letters... (hint: Them
('em) are ducks, they are not, Oh yes they are, see them wings, well
I'll be, them are ducks!). It's hunting season...

For us International Dummies is there an explaining of Texas humour or
are we to remain Dummies?

m r ducks. a r knot! o s a r, c m wangs? l i b, m r ducks!

A little Texas humor on a Friday!

OK, Everybody -- Thanks. I should've known better than to assume R:Base
couldn't do it (plain CTRL-C and CTRL-V even work). It's not well
documented or I would've found it! Here is proof positive that when
something bugs you you should share it with the list! ~Claudine <g> :)

Claudine,

It already does!

[Ctrl[Ins] copies whatever is selected or visible on the command line to

the clipboard.

[[Shift][Ins] pastes it at the R> prompt

When you use [F3] and pick a table or a list of columns or something
from the pop-up data dictionary, it is also stored in the clipboard.
[Shift][Ins] whereever you want to "paste" it.

Bill
