To all who tried to help on this one the code now looks like
del rows fro trans where aar = 1
del rows fro transfg
del rows fro verfg
del rows fro ibub
del rows fro hbfg
del rows fro ibfg
del rows fro ib
del rows fro ub
del rows fro ubfg
del rows fro hb
del rows fro verifik where aar = 1

and works ok even if I still do not understand why some of the previous
ones did not work with where clauses in 2.11 syntax that where
perfectly executed at R:Prompt.
My own conclousion for this is I better stop using the DOS version and
concentrate on win 7.0 soon to come
Thanks for all tips

Gunnar -

The problem with your code is your abbreviations. EXI can mean
EXISTS, EXIT, or EXITFORM. The interpreter can't differentiate that you
want it to mean EXISTS. The last I heard ESP wasn't built in, yet.
