It's the laptop's video....  It uses the video driver of the operating
system to control its resolution.  There is no 'full screen' mode on it
as it will treat anything that tries 640x480 as a tiny picture in the
middle of the screen.  If you were to boot with a DOS floppy, you would
see the same problem.  The best you can do is mess around with the
different properties of the DOS window and get it as big as you can.
You will never have 'full screen'.  (However, if you do, let me know, I
have this problem on several laptops).

Right-click on the title bar and choose properties - and try different
settings for the DOS window.
