Maybe I'm the last one to know about this but, just in case anybody else on the list didn't know, I can confirm that this does work.

Dear Alastair,
Using "EXIT" command in an EEP will exit R:BASE silently without using RSHOW.
Have you seen the exit (closing application procedures) demonstrated in:
. Running R:BASE Your Way! (Part 5) . Running R:BASE Your Way! (Part 6) . Running R:BASE Your Way! (Part 7) . Running R:BASE Your Way! (Part 8) . Running R:BASE Your Way! (Part 9) . R:Docs
RRBYW5 > Main Menu > Home RRBYW6 > Main Menu > Exit RRBYW7 > Main Menu > Exit > Close Application and Exit RRBYW8 > Main Menu > Exit > Close Application and Exit RRBYW9 > Main Menu > Exit > Close Application and Exit RDocs > Main Menu > Exit > Exit R:Docs
All those applications use "EXIT" command in EEP.
Enjoy and make sure to have fun!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
