Doing as you suggested eliminated the error message I was getting, but now I have a new one...

When I enter forms in my own database (doesn't happen in the samples) I get a error

    ERROR - Invalid Date Value - 2418

None of the dates in the database have been changed, no variables are created for dates in these forms, and this was working fine before the CFG file was re-created.

This error doesn't occur in the sample database forms

Date is set as MM/DD/YYYY and MMDDYYYY

Century Threshold 30        Default Century 19

Why would this occur?

By the way, when the form opens, after the error message, data for date fields is presented as usual.  Some date fields are null.  Is that a problem?  It wasn't before.

Paula,

01. Rename or delete that RBENGINE.CFG file.

02. Start RBG7 (update 76 or higher) and let RBG7 create
a brand new RBENGINE.CFG for you.

     Exit RBG7.

03. Now find that good RBENGINE.CFG file on your machine
and move it to C:\Windows OR C:\WinNT folder, accordingly.

04. Start RBG7

It should take care of that -ERROR- message.

Enjoy and make sure to have fun!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
