Well that's good to know that they're aware of it.  Using Gateway or writing to a .csv file as Emmitt suggests would be the same as printing to an Excel spreadsheet with "no blanks" selected.  So I'll keep my Excel spreadsheet and will have to manually insert a blank line between data records (or use "actual" and delete extra blank lines, whichever seems the lesser of 2 evils)!
