To all R:BASE Developers: The best part about attending the R:BASE Developers Conferences is having the ability to see and to share all the eye-popping ways that other users have found to make the most of the great new features that RBTI keeps adding to what we thought was an already great product.
So, with that said, the next item on our conference to-do list (big drum roll and sound of some trumpets!) is to find presenters who have something different or complex or slick to share with us. Conference presentations can range from very quick 5-minute "Look what I figured out!!" presentations to more robust and fully organized presentations of up to an hour. We are especially interested in how developers are using some of the new features in R:BASE version 7.x - those that follow different programming concepts than earlier versions of R:BASE. We want LOTS of examples of using the PROPERTY syntax and samples of creative uses of the amazing PRINT command. What applications use the new file list objects? We want to see how users managed conversion of large and small projects. We want to see how developers are integrating the web into their applications. We want to see demonstrations of the ease of managing images in forms and reports. How have you successfully managed language differences for an application for non-English speakers?
