Benjamin,

Here's how:

A. To change the OWNER of a database
    01. Start RBG7
    02. CONNECT dbname
    03. At the R> prompt:
        RENAME OWNER NONE TO newownername
    04. DISCONNECT
    05. EXIT

B. To automatically CONNect the database with OWNER password
    01. Start RBG7
    02. At the R> prompt:
        CONNECT dbname IDENTIFIED BY ownerpassword
        OR
Use the above command in application startup DAT file.
        OR
Use the above command in RBASE.DAT file

C. To change existing OWNER password
    01. Start RBG7
    02. At the R> prompt:
        CONNECT dbname IDENTIFIED BY ownerpassword
        RENAME OWNER oldownerpassword TO newownerpassword

D. You may also use Utilities | Set User ID and Password
or GUI User Privileges option of RBG7 Main Menu.

Have fun!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
