My spam checker reports the following on Dave's message:

X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.9 required=5.0

I.e., another 1.1 hits and Dave would have been in my Trash can (his
message, not Dave).

If your email looks like junk mail, i.e., it is not plain text, it may be
interpreted as spam. My suggestion is to make sure you are sending boring
plain text email to Rlist. Otherwise you may need to raise the number of
hits to whatever spam checker the Rlist uses or your personal spam checker.
