Alastair,

I checked everything you mentioned.  I am not clearing the buffer so it
should work properly.  Also, there are no spaces in any of the students
names.

One interesting fact, this is happening on all of my forms where I use a
pop-up list regardless of what "where clause" I use to change the list of
students.

Any thoughts?
