Group, I wanted to thank everyone who posts here. I keep all the messages which allows me to do a lot of trouble shooting as I develop our application. I just found a message that suggested using a view to accomplish a task that I never would have thought of. Also utilizing a 'Group by' in a Pop-up menu on a db-edit field allows me to remove a redundant table.
Question: Has anyone else inadvertantly used the wrong control for something which caused the app to hang? As I was quickly building a form I assigned a 'db-edit' control to a 'note' column. Did not realize the problem until troubleshooting the form. Might there be a way in the future to have an error message while in form designer to notify of a potential problem? Jan
