A matter of curiosity on another item: the databrowser crosstab and report crosstabs sort differently. Several of the subdivisions in my database are identified by a number and are stored as text in the Subdivision column. The databrowser crosstab lists them as: 1 1-80 14 2 2-80 3 4
The printed report lists them as: 1 14 1-80 2 2-80 3 4
Is this expected? Doesn't matter to me (yet, anyway). I'm just curious. set fun on

OK, one more: We all appreciate the incredible amount of time you spend answering our questions. Some of those questions repeat over a period of time. I've saved over 500 emails from the RB7 list in which I can sometimes find (after enough sorting and reading) an answer to a question I have before posting it. In the interest of efficiency and to save you, and us, some time and effort, is there a keyword-searchable database (knowledge-base?) of info that would include summaries of email threads, citations of FTE articles and online documentation, and other documentation? I realize it could be a significant undertaking, but a lot has already been done, e.g. your answer below to my email and the existing online documentation. I think a searchable online reference would be a great help.

Of course the entire knowledge-base database will be powered by R:WEB Suite!

By default, NULL values are skipped in a CrossTab report.
But, if you would like to include the NULL values in R:BASE 7.1 CrossTab report, you need to set the option of Skip Nulls to False.
Here's how to do that:
01. While in Report Designer, right-click on the CrossTab control placed on the band and then select Configure...
02. While in Configure CrossTab window, click on the "Subdivision" cell (in your case) and then right-click to un-check the option for "Skip Nulls".
03. Click on [OK] to save CrossTab configuration.
04. Use [Report Preview] tab to preview while in Report Designer.
05. Save the report.
That's all there is to it. That is your tip of the day!
