Sharon - I believe that in order for this to work, you need to have the R:BASE ODBC driver installed on each computer and depending on how you have your distributed app set up in a network, this might prove to be a big support issue.
If you can work with having only one database open at a time, you could set that up in your RBASE.dat file and allow the user the ability to choose which database they want to work in before you open the first form.
