Ask and you shall receive!
The upcoming R:BASE 7.1 (Update 78), will include the enhancement to also assign RBTI_FORM_COLNAME and RBTI_FORM_COLVALUE for individual columns in a DB Grid.
You'll also get the correct data type of associated column/value. Currently, all returned values are TEXT.
