This is beginning to seem like a report designer problem. It seems that when I use the report preview function the variables are not resetting. This occurs even when I try to run the report from the R: prompt after using the preview function. The only way to resolve this is either to reset all vars from the R: prompt or to exit and re-enter Rbase. Then you can run the report from a R: prompt for testing and not have any problems. Will need to try this a number of more times to confirm this but this seems to be a commonality at this point but not 100%.
