I will put it to good use.
I made an appt. scheduler some time ago and gave it to my customer's as a free addition to their apps. But they still prefer to use Outlook. Maybe this will convince them.

I know there are myriad ways to get a date from a calendar control in RBase,
but I wanted to do something that behaved a bit more under my control, so a
made a calendar based form in Rb7.
It's standard behavior differs from the controls only that it is a complete
form, so you can modify it any way you want.
Conceivably, you could use it as a basis for an appointment scheduler or such.
The form arguments take the name of the Caption to be used, the variable name
to receive the return value, and the Seed date (the starting date to display).
It has buttons to advance and retard the Month Values and Year Values as well
as Drop downs for both Month and Year. Whenever the Year is changed, the
dropdown is refreshed with +5 and -5 year values from the new Year date.
Anyway, it's going to be well utilized in my changeover of my own internal
application and I think it may have some utility value to others, so here is
