Dick:
Simply use the PDF extension and select a name for the file, after you
select OK it will open the PDF Export Setup Window, click on the Open After
Generate box on the Main Tab and press OK. The report will be generated and
it will open a new window with Adobe Acrobat displaying your report, Click
on File on the Acrobat Reader Top Menu (I am using version 6.0) and the
select the e-mail... option. Your e-mail editor will open with the PDF file
as an attachment, simple select the Name of the Recipient and that's all
there is to it...no need to do any further programming. The same technique
can be used with the Microsoft Word Option where once the report is
displayed you can select the option Send To... from the File Option on the
Top Menu, then you can select to send the report as the body of the e-mail,
as an attachment or you can direct it to be sent as a fax...lots of
options...no programming!!!

Subject: [RBG7-L] - E-Mail attachment

Sometimes I am amazed at how little I know.

We print to screen or printer.
End of story.

Now with the new FAB 7.1 going live on Monday...
I would like to print an estimate and make it an atachment to an email,
instead of scanning as we do now.

I have NO clue which print option to use.

Happy New Year all..

Dick Fey
