Victor, Until I see official documentation to the contrary, I will continue to enclose all vars passed to GetProperty within quotes. From the earliest example code passed to me by Razzak from Aleksey, GetProperty vars were enclosed in quotes.
Examples from the RDocs database use this format as well... I have never had it fail using this syntax even though I am sure that it will parse correctly using your method. It will not cause a detriment to the command that I know or have experienced.
