Thanks Alastair.
You nailed it. I had a saverow after updating with an eep. I would never have thought of that causing a problem.
Thanks again. Is this list a blessing or what...

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Re: Error message
Dick,
This problem seems to come and go with different updates/betas.
I've reported it a couple of times as having returned without an invitation
but it still appears for no apparent reason so I've simply given up trying
to get rid of it.
That said, do check that you are not updating the table via an EEP and then
saving the row via the form. It's not really an appropriate error message
but someone, I think it was MikeB, corrected me because I used to do that
quite happily in v6.5++.
Regards, Alastair.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Error message
theI am plagued with an error message that I cannot seem to find a cause..
It comes at the end of a form, and happens even if I am the only user onthem.system.
'Data has been changed by another user etc etc.'
We use this form in 2 configurations, with probably 10% difference inThe pesky form was originally copied from the one that works OK. I have traced and checked all changes & just cannot find an issue.
Since I cannot find a cause, is there a way to supress the darn thing?
