Very strange.  At the time I thought it was 18 characters, too, but when it
worked at 14 characters I figured I had it wrong.  Well, THAT was wrong! :)

What is worse is I could have sworn I did a cut and paste.  Do these
gremlins live in the space between the CONTROL key and the letter V?  Or, is
it the space in my head?  (Don't answer that!)
