Oh No, now you tell me. Actually there have been several times during the 'waiting for a Riv custom odyssey' when I considered an AHH. A Homer would be functionally equivalent but would lack the nifty custom head badge, the JB paint, and the other custom details. When I became impatient and asked about changing my custom to an AHH the Riv folks were accommodating and open to that idea. In the end, patience prevailed and I'm happy that the custom won out.
For me the new bike decision isn't a practical decision it is more a matter of 'bike madness'. While Grant doesn't mention 'bike madness' his description of Rivendell Customs covers much of why I'm getting a custom. http://www.rivbike.com/products/list/bicycle_models#product=50-990 Cheers, JimD On Sep 3, 2008, at 9:20 PM, Horace wrote: > > > On Wed, Sep 3, 2008 at 7:48 PM, JimD <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > custom Riv that will be like a Ram/Rom but use the Silver brakes and > wear Jack Browns with fenders. > > > I think they have a production model like that. :-) > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
