So I literally just got off the phone with John at Rivendell who took
my order for a 63cm AHH. To say I'm excited would be an
understatement. It'll be a while until I've got it on the road as I
need to decide on and save for wheels. Current parts for the bike
which are in my possession.

Shimano LX RR RD
Silver shifters with barend pods
Sugino cranks 46-36-24
Nitto Crystal Fellows seatpost
Brooks Champion saddle
Silver brakes
Shimano levers
Nitto Noodle bars (46)

I'm leaning towards Phil hubs, the Rivendell models, for the wheels
and possibly a Phil BB. I'm also considering a lugged stem although I
don't know. That's pretty decadent. Regardless of parts this bike will
easily be the most expensive bike I've ever owned. I've been cycling
15yrs and I feel like it's well deserved or as well deserved as any
kind of consumer item can be.

For the past year I've been on a Rambouillet which I love but just
wasn't up to the task of doing everything I wanted it to do. Once the
AHH is set-up I'll take the 32 Paselas off the Ramb and put on Ruffy
Tuffys and probably Honjo fendrs and keep it as my "go fast" bike.

I did some major rides this past year which included a 200km, 300km
and 600km brevets along with about 5 solo centuries and weekly 50 to
80 mile rides. I'm hoping to next year complete a super rando series
(200, 300, 400, & 600 brevets) along with some S24O, multiple solo
centuries and lots and lots of gravel roads.

I'll keep you folks posted on the progress.
