Doug,
I put these fenders on my 50cm Saluki two years ago and they still
look nice. They are stainless steel so they won't rust but they will
scratch and dent. The mounting hardware is of a good quality. There
are a few tricks to getting Berthoud fenders to fit--I have the
Mitsuboshi Trimline tires and another set of wheels with the Col de la
Vies. There are two widths. You have to get the wider size to fit
around the tires and you have to dispense with the spacer at the
front fork. You have to plan and measure and dill your own holes in
the fenders for the mounting hardware carefully. I got some help from
a local bike shop. Good luck.
