Very inspirational story! David, you're so right. So, I took a 60 mile ride today on the Romulus, and stopped in a bike shop to look around and take a break. An employee said, "Nice bike - how old is it?" Instead of saying "2003," I should have said, "Thrift store find." That would help with my working-class upbringing hang-up about appearing to spend a lot of money on something like a bicycle.
