Not to belabor my woes here, but here is a snippet from ChaserTech.com 's first response: "...If the item got lost during transit we are not responsible for this problem since postal worker may tamper with the package or package." From their second email: "...But still, we can't help you further about this case due to the package has no insurance (if package got dampered during usps transit or tampered after delivered to wrong address then send it to you)."
So ChaserTech.com and I agree, you and I should get insurance when buying from Ebay, and maybe anywhere? I have nowhere else to turn. Someone somewhere got a pair of Tektro Oryx canti brakes as a new year's present from me. The cost of the brakes calipers only was $37.79, so I am not out alot.
