On my Redline Monocog 29er ss with tiny 17" frame (that is the Medium),
there is no way  that a conventional hangar would work -- simply not enough
room between brakes and stop -- so I ended up filing out a stem mount hangar
to clamp onto the seatpost.

But I got around the hassle by using V brakes and, later, discs. I agree
with Jim: why not calipers?
