Flickr specific info - - The photo which was uploaded may have its permissions set to "friends/family", so even though it is in the group, it may not be visible. - If you give the link to your own account, it can end up with an "@" in the url (link). I'm not sure if google groups assumes that is an email designator, but it may scramble or otherwise obscure the url.
