Heya gang.... I'm looking hard at the Quickbeam and wanted some feedback on the whole single speed / fixed gear world.
I'm a spinner not a masher. In other words, probably 90 - 95 % of all my riding is spent in the small ring. I've always been that way...probably due to my long, lanky body type and quads the size of slim jims. Is a fixie / ss just a pipe dream for a guy like me ? The beauty of the QB is that extra small ring which I'd probably spend a whole lotta time in (and starting out ss). Besides all types of riding, I'd also be nice weather commuting too on the QB which is why I started looking in this direction. Simplicity and low maintenance are beautiful things !
