This is a very tough post for me. I just found out today that my job is being eliminated, and - like so many these days - I must make immediate decisions to preserve what's truly important in life. Many of you have followed the build of my black Bombadil over the past couple Months. I really appreciated all the kind words along the way, and was excited for better riding weather. Sadly, I am offering one of you, or someone you may know, the chance to take this beautiful bike into the next chapter of it's life without me. I am willing to sell the frame alone, or the complete package. The pictures in Flickr tell the story, so I will not go into any detail right now. Just take a look and if you have any specific questions let me know. Mine was one of the early deposits on the frame, so my cost was a mere $1500.00. If you want the frame/headset alone, I'd like to recover close to that if possible. If you want everything pictured in the final build photos, make me an offer - you all know what a build like this would cost you, and I won't give it away.
If the Bombadil doesn't float your boat, like most of you I have a couple other classic two-wheelers in the corral, and I may be pressed to expose them to the market sooner than later. Email me off list and I can let you know what I have. I'll put up some more photos on Flickr in the next week or so.
