Is it kind of a breathie moan? My Heron does that when the wind/speed's just right. It's the wind blowing across the bottom of the steerer tube like a hillbilly playing the jug.

At first I thought it was the front wheel. The bike makes the sound when going 15 mph+ and when coasting or when pedaling backwards at that speed. Otherwise it sounds serendipitously. I now suspect that the cause is in the bottom bracket. I'm using Sugino cranks with a Tange bottom bracket which has around 5,000 miles on it. I have not performed service to it of any kind. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.
