I think I could could go for 1k at least without a relube if I remember 
right from my use. Rain or shine. Set it and forget it for the season.
But I ride roads, and don't get all muddy.

I am using Boeshield liquid now, but it doesn't last long at all from my 
experience. Maybe 200 miles tops for me if I am remembering right.
But I like it 'cuz it is purported to dry as a paraffin wax, for keeping 
cleaner. It also is supposed to flush out any other lube on the chain as it 
penetrates.
Very short lived though. But I like it a lot.

I may go back to Chain-L when I run outta Boeshield because I have a lot of 
Chain-L No.5 left. After that, I may decide to settle on one or t'other.
