I just put a Suntour Cyclone FD on my Riv, simple and classic. But, I had to make the switch from the IRD Alpina FD when I put on the Stronglight 99 crank. The Stronglight crankarm is so close to the big ring that a FD with a flat outer plate is required, no modern sculpting.
Shifts the Stronglight triple 52/40/30 just fine, via Silver bar-ends.
