Yes - those are the Nokio tires that were the inspiration for our Rock 'n Road tires. They were no longer in production - we made them a little different shape and tread and much lighter. I have always given credit to those tires, in fact, I have one on display next to the RNR Tires. There is nothing new in the bike business - my problem is when people copy parts that are currently made. Check out the MKS Urban Platform Pedals - then check out the White Industries Urban Platform Pedals that MKS copied. We made a Carbon Handlebar - http://www.bgcycles.com/carbon-handlebars.html - I got the idea for these bars from "The Data Book" - in fact they are on page 186 - hence the name.
