I have Grand Bois tires on two of my bikes, and they measure closer to the
widths they're listed as on the Compass site.

My Cerf Blue tires measure at 26 mm on Open Pros (as listed), which is good
because my Giordana can't fit a 700 x 28.

The Lierre tires even have 650 x 36 molded into the gumwall, but they
measure closer to 38 mm on Synergy rims on my Riv.

The tires may stretch a bit as you wear them in, and reach the full 32 mm
width.

Your narrower rim may factor in as well. Open Pro rims are 15 mm wide,
whereas the Grand Bois rims 23 mm wide, same as Synergy rims.

I appreciate that the measurement's on the Compass website are pretty
accurate, because it allowed me to fit the fattest tires possible in my
reach-limited frames.

And I greatly appreciate the ride and speed of the Grand Bois tires!
