My first big ride since I broke my rib in mid-May. Felt good, though I felt it on the longer climbs at the end of the ride.
Underbiked with Barlow Pass tires -- as in the lower end of under biking. Next time I'll swap to MSO's for better traction on this steep loose stuff. Barlows are great, but not for roads that are loose gravel, slope steeply sideways, and are steep climbs or descents. Single speeding for 7 hours is fantastic! I returned well tuckered. Wildflowers are in full swing and showing off all their glory. Plenty of rain of late so they are green and brilliant and abundant in the Haymen burn area where they make one big rolling meadow over hill and dale amidst the tombstone trees. No idea how far this ride is, as I only measure by time. https://www.flickr.com/photos/32311885@N07/sets/72157644812056819/ With abandon, Patrick www.MindYourHeadCoop.org www.OurHolyConception.org -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
