My computer is an older Cateye, but the programming inputs have not changed. The setup procedure requires the mounted tire circumference or... one revolution. They offer a table with "close to" values for various tire sizes, but it is so easy to measure this input that there is no reason not to so so. And given the variability in tire specs... it makes sense to do so.
