Sounds like it will be a good bike! I'm not super-versed in them, but the later-steel Rockhoppers look like real good bikes. I've seen several real old Stumpies recently as well. They seem to have the really shallow angles though, double check those. I tell ya, mid-80's Specialized designed some good bikes.
