By SILVER do you mean RBW "SILVER", or Tektro 559? The reason I ask is because I have never been able to drop any 50psi 40-42mm tire through my R559's, without deflating. And I set up the brake pads far from the rim and I do open the QR. So that is a luxury to get them out so easily. Very cool.
