I boug a pair of Splats when they first came out almost three years ago. I wear shoes without a raised heel -- usually Chrome Kursks because they-so comfortable. I have noticed that, even though I'm careful to remove the splats at my destination, I still am wearing out the strap that goes underneath my foot. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a good fix that will keep me from having to buy another pair right away? I don't own an industrial sewing machine so lower-ech solutions are sought. I LOVE these and want to keep them going before buying replacements. Beth in pdx, where the rain has returned for the season
