Nice photos and a true thought. I worked as an interfaith chaplain in a major teaching hospital for 13 years. I learned many things, but perhaps the most important has been that when I have to get up in the middle of the night I don't grouse about it, I just thank God my kidneys still work!
Now when I get a flat I am grateful to have a bike & tires to get a flat in. We had a Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving. Today the world is covered in 6" of fresh snow and the sun is shining brightly. Makes gratitude easy.
