I've been primarily using Addidas Sambas over the past couple of years with VP pedas. I've done a couple of 100 mile rides in that combo. Generally they're fine although I've had a few instances of numbness. The Sambas are a bit thin. Also, Addidas N. American HQ is down the street from my house and I get 50% off coupons for the employee store through my employer. I would consider the Chromes if it wasn't for getting such a big discount on the Sambas. --mike
