Jim, I couldn't agree more. It is your EYES! Patrick, you already had cataract surgery so you know your eyes are vulnerable. Protect them! By-the-way, your replacement lens implants have UV protection built in. Your primary focus now should be wind, dust and general debris protection. But don't cheap out. Quality is always worth it in the long run. I opted for a pair of Maui Jim's. Not only do they protect they actually enhance vision. Mine cost a couple hundred bucks but they've held up to daily use for almost three years and they are still going strong.
