My wimpy bludgeoned brain couldn't handle the main weekend, but on the off chance that we do a trip to SoCal this spring (we consider spring trips to escape the slushy spring slop snows that make it so you can't do much of anything here), would there be a time better than others to do a mini-group ride ahead of March 21? What tire protection would you recommend for 2.1" Smart Sams and your infamous goat heads?
