Several years ago (maybe five?) I bought some shellac flakes, with the
intent of applying shellac to the bars on my original Rambouillet. I
just never got around to it.

In the process of working on my new-to-me Ram last night, I came upon
the flakes in my garage. They've been sealed in a plastic bag,
sitting on a shelf in a detached building all this time. So...my
question is: Do you think the shellac is still "good"?

I know I can just mix it up and try it--but I would like to avoid
having to redo it, if the flakes are definitely past their prime.

Thanks,

Mark
