Number one by a large margin:

Spend more time with my daughter. She goes to bed at 7 - I only have a 20
minute walk to work, but by bike it us 10 minutes. Those 10 minutes matter when
I only have about 120 minutes between leaving work and bedtime.

Number two:

Get stuff done faster, cheaper and with less pollution. Grocery shopping is
fast and easy by bike. Anything else would be slow and frustrating, or
expensive. Cars are dangerous and pollute, locally and globally.

Number three:

Feel the freedom of being fast and efficient. I don't move swiftly on my own
two feet. Being a clumsy and lumbering runner, riding a bike is one of the only
ways for me to feel that way.
