A merging of two of my primary interests! You probably know this but I doubt many other people reading this thread do, but Billy the Kid killed his first man at Fort Grant, near Mt. Graham. This killing is what led him to change his name to William H. Bonney. He fled Fort Grant and returned to New Mexico and made history.
