Hi,

I have several front and rear racks I'd like to sell, along with quite a
bit of other stuff as well. I was laid off effective last Friday, so
suddenly my desire to convert my excess bike bits into cash is much
increased! BTW, if anyone knows of a position for an experienced
operations research professional (extensive background in mathematical
optimization and simulation), please let me know!

Racks currently on offer (prices do not include shipping, which will be at
cost and can be determined after packing):

1) New, never installed, Bruce Gordon front lowrider rack, as seen here:
http://www.bgcycles.com/racks.html
Unopened bag of attachment hardware still taped to the rack. One of the
finest lowrider racks available, nicer construction than Tubus IMO. $185 on
BG's website or $145 from Jack's garage.

2) Used Bruce Gordon rear rack with all mounting hardware. Rack itself is
very good condition, but the generic mounting bolts are not stainless and
are no longer shiny. See it here:
http://www.bgcycles.com/new-page-14/
$208 from Bruce Gordon, say $130.

3) New Tubus Cosmo stainless rear rack (with low-ish rider mounts).
Installed on a Waterford touring bike I was building, then removed without
ever having a pannier mounted on it. Original version of the Cosmo, so
looks like this:

<http://www.therandonneeshop.com/media/238/Tubus_Cosmo.jpg>
Included is the $13 Tubus "Lower Rack Mounting Kit", which can be used to
position the rack slightly further back to increase clearance for heels or
disc brakes, or help on bikes with normal length chainstays. $210+$13=$223
is cheapest online price I see; say $170 for everything.

I'll be posting gobs more stuff in the near future. Next up will be a
collection of jerseys, including wool by Rapha and Castelli.

Cheers and safe riding!

-Jack
