I added what _seems_ to be an 8mm nylon spacer (can't quite get the calipers
in there all the way, but it measured 7-8 mm from various eyeballed angles)
to my setup on the Quickbeam.

If you follow the photostream forward, you can see it from a few angles.

With the SKS fender tab, the end of the threaded bit on the Nitto Mini Front
rack is just a hair past flush.

I'm not positive that's the same crown, but I'd bet it was pretty close.
