I added what _seems_ to be an 8mm nylon spacer (can't quite get the calipers in there all the way, but it measured 7-8 mm from various eyeballed angles) to my setup on the Quickbeam. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cyclofiend/517196674 If you follow the photostream forward, you can see it from a few angles. With the SKS fender tab, the end of the threaded bit on the Nitto Mini Front rack is just a hair past flush.
