The vibration is normal. Where the light is mounted makes no difference, but the amount of current it's pulling can. If you like to leave your headlight on, the lights with daytime running-lights should reduce vibration during the day.
I have an older SON28 powering a B&M Cyo and I can feel vibration even at 14mph. It's not horrible, just noticeable.
